COVID-19 Test Negative Result Or Vaccination Record


In accordance with the latest requirements and guidelines of the HK Government and the HKCEC, and with the directions under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), all exhibitors and on-site staff (including forwarders and contractors) who will be present on the show days (17-20 September, 2021) are required to either provide COVID-19 test negative result or a proof of a completed vaccination record. Please read the following details:

a) Undergo a polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test

Polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19 by using combined nasal and throat swabs must be conducted through one of the followings:

Exhibitor staff and representatives who will take a polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19 must use combined nasal and throat swabs and obtain the SMS notification containing a negative test result. Deep throat saliva specimen IS NOT ACCEPTED.

b) Completed two doses of COVID-19 vaccine before or on 3rd September, 2021 (14 days before the first show day) and provide a proof of vaccination record. 

For both the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine (CoronaVac vaccine) and Fosun Pharma/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty vaccine), completing the vaccination course in general involves receiving two doses 14 days ago. 

The latest date of completing the vaccination course for this fair is 3rd September, 2021.  

Electronic vaccination record or paper vaccination record is acceptable.

On exhibitor move-in day, exhibitor staff must present a negative test result or/and a vaccination record to the Organiser prior to collection of exhibitor badge and admission to the exhibition hall.  Any exhibitors and/or their staff who fail to present a valid SMS notification with negative result or the vaccination record will not be allowed to enter the exhibition halls.    

The Organiser will keep all SMS notifications containing negative test result or/and vaccination records for 31 days and may share such data (including any additional identity verification data) as required by law or any lawful request of authorities for the purposes of COVID-19 contact tracing and prevention of crime. Exhibitors are also required to retain their own SMS notification containing a negative test result / vaccination records for 31 days. 

In addition, law enforcement officers may visit the Exhibition at any time to carry out spot checks. Any exhibitor staff who fail to comply with compulsory testing notices are committing an offence, which is subject to prosecution.

To avoid crowds on-site, exhibitors are required to book the timeslot for badge collection through our online booking system. We will communicate with you in early September regarding the online booking system through emails.

A. Collector must be one of the exhibitor badge applicants. 

B. Exhibitor can choose to collect his/her own badge individually (Individual Collection) or collect the badges on behalf of his/her colleagues (Representative Collection).

C. Exhibitor staff should present the following items when collecting the badge:

  1. Badge Collection Number (Please refer to the email of “Book your timeslot for exhibitor badge collection” that will be sent in late August)
  2. Booking Confirmation Email
  3. HKID Card/Passport/EEP#
     – Individual Collection ​: Must present the original ID copy
     – Representative Collection : Representative must present the original ID copy. Other staff’s ID can use copy
  4. COVID-19 Test negative result or/and Vaccination Record ## (SMS screen capture/ vaccination record screen capture or paper record in original copy or copy)

  # EEP stands for Exit Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau

D. Our staff will record the image of the COVID-19 test negative result / Vaccination record.

E. Exhibitors will not be allowed to access to exhibition halls if they fail to comply with the above requirements. 

Vehicle pass will now be available in electronic format.

Exhibitors can apply for the vehicle pass through our online manual, and download the E-Vehicle pass from there after application.

The QR code on each E-Vehicle Pass is for single use only, it will be scanned at the gate of the Exhibition Centre loading area.
